I will put this one here also.

Roman had an excellent Challenger Series debut and he even got a medal, bronze. He also broke his PB which is now 222.37 points. By the way his TES in FS was by far the best of the competition 86.57 but in PCS he lost to Voronov about 12 points. Roman landed both 4T and 4S.

Roman has skated a great FS at a recent competition in Moscow. He landed every big jumps clean with positive GOE including 4T, 4S, 3A+3T and 3A. His TES was above 91 points. His SP wasn't clean, he only got 65 points from his SP. No videos at the moment but protocols can be found in here.

It looks like Roman has the same kind of strategy than what he had last year - to compete as early as possible. Last year he skated at the 1st and 2nd JGP event and now he has been assigned to the 1st and 3rd event.

Well, not his best programs but 2nd placement was a pretty good outcome.

It seems Roman will stay in juniors since he is one the Russia's entries in JGP Slovakia.

This season will be his last junior eligible season.

Yeah, it was kinda obvious when he didn't get any senior Grand Prix events and he was guaranteed one Guess he wants to try and get a GPF/Jr Worlds medal. Or the Fed doesn't think the new crop of juniors are ready (no quads, unstable or no 3axel) so they kept him in juniors

In any event, good luck to him!

I think it was probably a good decision to stay in juniors. He has been 4th at the JGP Final and 5th at the Junior Worlds. So, the medals haven't been far away and who knows maybe he will get some big medals this season.

I hope he works on getting positive GOE out of most of his elements and level 4s on all spins. That World free is an example. He would have medaled if he had all level 4s on spins and about 1/2 the positive GOEs that Danielian got even with the flip error or he could have just landed the flip. He was so close to that bronze.
