Nerves, I guess? If I were 14 years old competing in front of an overseas crowd (however supportive) in my first JGP, I too would be nervous.

She is a lovely skater. Bright future. I look forward to seeing her again.

Barely making myself to come for the final group. :)

Amy withdrew...I hope nothing serious happened to her.

Did Gabby skated better than this before? She looks terrified before going into her jumps. Her other elements are pretty, but with three jumps(?) she is currently in the first place.

Yes, Gabby is capable of skating better. Her FS score at 2016 Glacier Falls was over 100 points.

Reminder that she originally was a sub for Yokohama.
She did not find out that she would be making her JGP debut here until Aug 31, when she would have been focusing on Golden West. A lot to deal with mentally and physically, I imagine.
Again, for a fourteen-year-old.

Marin is gorgeous and her skating fits the soft parts of the music. Needs a tiny tiny bit more energy for the last bit but that was great!
