That's why tournament organisers should never use Dailymotion to live stream their events. There are problems everytime.

In their defense, it's a tough choice, especially now that so many programs use modern pop music. The soundtracks get stripped or the video is geoblocked very quickly on youtube now, and most organizers don't have the muscle or the time to deal with it - see the Lombardia youtube videos as an example. They did go back and upload those to facebook later, though, so that's a possible workaround.

To their credit, the ISU must have put youtube/google on notice, because the JGP videos never seem to have copyright trouble, but unless the ISU takes over all these other events ($$$), I think we're all going to have to live with this sort of inconvenience/disappointment. (This does not excuse a paid-for service like Ice Network)

That is exactly what I suggested should be done yesterday in the livestream thread.

The thing is, the ISU does not actually produce the Junior GP coverage themselves. It is outsourced to a production company, Red Brick TV, which Ted always mentions at the end of each broadcast.

And from looking at their website there now, I see Red Brick was also the host broadcaster for the World Championships and the TCC last season.

So, given that there is clearly a good working relationship between the ISU and Red Brick already, I am sure it would not be too difficult for the contract for the Junior GP Series to be extended to include the Challenger Series as well.

Yes, it will cost money, but the way things are with the Challenger Series at the minute does not make the ISU or the organisers of each event look very professional.

That said, the DEU has done a great job with the production of the Nebelhorn coverage. It has just been the streaming service that has let them down.

If you look at Nebelhorn channel, they do post individual videos after competition. So we may still get a video of Liza's and So Youn's full SP programs. Yes, it's not right away, but there's huge chance we'll get to see it so calm down everybody. (And if'ts posted on DM it will be on YT as well.)

LADIES SHORT PROGRAM - VIDEOS & RESULT

:thank: Mao88 for your hard work and dedication in posting results! So much appreciated. I won't take up too much space in the thread, but will you be adding any other programs over time? I'm interested in Karly Robertson's program, and I missed it.

Hopefully footage of Karly Robertson's SP will be uploaded onto the Nebelhorn channel. If so, will added it to the Ladies SP list.

Thanks for collecting Videos, its appreciated.

AS for the complaints.

YT is a pain to use for us in Germany, we have something called Gema and we can get in seriuos trouble if we upload music to YT as a non copyright holder.

I am sure, the DEU has considered YT, but half the Stuff uploaded might instantly be removed or they have to pay a lot extra.

I can't watch a lot of what is posted here... Germany is sadly a poor country for YT and I assume the GEMA money currently paid each year just doesnt Cover YT streaming.

I doubt ice network would tolerate worldwide streaming btw. nobody would sign up there if all is shown on YT that is so easy to unlock.
