Polina Tsurkaya = best jumper ever besides Midori Ito?

She's one of the few jumpers who makes the jump more than athletic feat - it's an aesthetic form itself. I could watch that delayed rotation for days, and then her snap into the rotation is stunning.

i think her jump height is unmatched, but she lacks flow in her jumps comparing to for example many Japanese junior girls. and as one poster posted above, her jumps air position is a bit wild as well.

Really solid skate, just needs more stand-out presentation. Should take bronze.

Is it just me or Mako has a flutz or at least flat edge on her lutz?

And why they didn't call Nugumanova's UR?

Hm, they only called her 2nd Lz UR. I thought her first Lz was pretty clearly UR from the slow-mo though. Maybe it was in the 1/4 ambiguous area.

Mako switched back to flat edge (or maybe inside edge) in her lutz and didn't get called.
Polina had a questionable jump too, I need to rewatch it, maybe UR.
Liza Nugumanova UR at least just a little bit better than Alisa Lozko.
