I really, really don't want nahyun to skate at AG, but even the athletes themselves seem to take this competition quite seriously, so it can't be helped. She really should not compete until worlds; her injury sounds painful. Argh.

Same  I'm so worried for her and stressed for Worlds but don't expect anything to be changed.

two things. First, I don't see So Youn in the starting order. Did Da Bin Choi replace her? Second, is the ladies SP on the livestream because it's not listed in the schedule.

it appears so, as there was already starting order for SP drawn.

So only Rika for Japan? :( That's too much pressure on her.

What do you think, will Shoma crack 200 in the free?

Has Denis Ten ditched 4CC, but is doing Asian Winter Games? Weird choice...

Julian Yee is competing in the Asian Winter Games! if I'm not mistaken he and his team left for the Games right after 4CC (just the day after the gala/ banquet).

He's the reigning champion at the Asian Games.

Shen / Zhao are the only skaters that have ever successfully defended their title. In fact, they are the only skaters to win multiple titles (they won four editions in a row, from 1996 to 2007)

So, he is probably thinking he has a good chance of setting a record for Men's skating.

Have we heard how ticket sales went? Japan always has great attendance any time they host a skating event!!

I don't know. But from the long shots, there do not see to be many people in the stands.

This is not typical of Japan. Normally the stands are packed!

Maybe it is because it is a Thursday afternoon. And the fact that there are not too many big names in the Ice Dance competition.

I expect there will be a lot more spectators for the Ladies later on. At least, I hope there will.

True! I apologize if you have already posted, but do we have live results? Can't find them anywhere.

I expect there is livescoring available, but I just can't get into the organisers' site to get the link. The site just won't load. And it's been like that EVERY morning. It loads OK in the afternoon, just not in the morning.

So, if anybody can find an ISU Entries / Results page, it would be really appreciated!

During the Junior GP Series, there were a couple of Indian skaters that were competing in Singles who also compete together in Ice Dance. They were way off the standard of the rest of the field in their respective categories, but they were absolutely loving it! They never stopped smiling!

This couple we have today are not going to trouble the top scorers either. (I should add, they were better than the younger skaters I was talking about). But, they were absolutely loving it too!

Although, Aldrin's smile did drop when she saw the score.

Oh, and can I just add: Aldrin is so beautiful!
