World Championships is about to start.
Will Oleg defeat Uchimura? Will this be the year?
Will Kenzo win on the floor?

What about the ladies? Is Simone competing this year?

Who else is watching and who are you cheering for?

MAG, I do not care, sorry
WAG: Simone is not competing, as what I saw in her IG stories. I am rooting for Teams China and Russia

I'm gonna have to check and see what times the events actually take place... and how I can actually watch this. Not sure what, if anything will be aired live here (except probably the Wevers girl on beam).
Gonna be a busy sports week then!

Simone has just recently started back in the gym. She's not competing at all this year.

I think Oleg has a better shot now than he ever did he nearly beat Kohei in the Olympics in Rio. All though Kohei being Kohei still pulled off a Kohei like win. Kohei himself said that we shouldn't expect him to win anymore I think he believes that he has reached his peak and now it's time for a new champion. I would be shocked however if he (Kohei) finished off the podium.

Due to injury, Uchimura could not qualify. this year is a real changing of the gaurd in many summer sports. Uchimura, Bolt, and Phelps.
-But, it's open season now. Go Manrique, Oleg and Kenzo.
If Kohei wants to make it to 2020, he should take it easy now.

That was my worst nightmare Kohei getting hurt. I was rooting for Kohei. I don't even know if I want to watch it won't be the same without him. There's still Oleg and Kenzo I guess.
And will be interesting to see how far Yul will go.

Such a shame about Uchimura. :-(
I will be rooting for everybody, have no real favorites. It’s all so nice to watch!

Apparently there was an issue with the floor mat that the men noticed, which explains some of the issues from the Men's qualifications.

Eek.

Well at least Kenzo got on the podium. Third in the all-around is not bad for someone who used to be a floor specialist. Who could've predicted China going 1,2 and Oleg failing to medal. I think the loss of Kohei as a rival really shook him up.

I felt horrible for David, falling on the HB when he could have won it easily. I'm quite happy with the medalists, but missed Uchimura terribly.
