Russian-Chinese youth winter games
7 - December 12, 2016. Harbin (China).

From 7 to 12 December 2016 in Harbin (China) will be held for the first time in the history of Russian-Chinese youth winter games.

27 sets of medals in five sports will be raffled: figure skating, speed skating, short track, hockey and alpine skiing (giant slalom and slalom).

Recall that the Russian-Chinese youth summer games have become a tradition. After the competition in the framework of national years (of Russia in China in 2006 and China in Russia in 2007) Games held in 2009 in Beijing, in 2011 in Penza, in 2013 in Shanghai, in 2015 in Irkutsk.

I couldn't find team Russia but Alexey Erokhov and Arina Ushakova / Maxim Nekrasov among others will be skating at these games. Don't know anything about team China.

If anyone knows who else will be skating here let us know. Also, a entries/results page would be nice.

Anyway, this sounds like an interesting junior event and I would like to see some videos, so, post them here if you find any.

I've heard that Sofia Samodurova, Alisa Lozko and Stanislava Konstantinova are taking part, too (that's not verified information, just someone mentioned it at one of the forums)

So it seems. Didn't find any official information but people are saying that best skaters among those who didn't make it to the JGPF was selected to this competition. According to rumors Skoptsova/Aleshin chose not to go, maybe because they were the 1st alternate for the JGPF.

Anyway, it seems likely that this would be team Russia

Men
Petr Gumennik
Alexei Erokhov
Artem Kovalev

Ladies
Stanislava Konstantinova
Alisa Lozko
Sofia Samodurova

Pairs
Anastasia Poluianova / Maksim Selkin
Kseniia Akhanteva / Valerii Kolesov.
Although, I have to say that I kind of doubt Akhanteva/Kolesov would be going because they just skated at the 5th stage of Russian Cup. Why would they have done that if they would be going to China right after. The only pretty good pair who will be not skating at the JGP final and who didn't skate at the 5th stage of Russian Cup is Albina Sokur / Roman Pleshkov. So, maybe it is them who is going to China.

Ice dance
Sofia Polishchuk / Alexander Vakhnov
Arina Ushakova / Maxim Nekrasov
