There are so many great ladies competing it's such a shame they're not showing it live...

Is it too much to hope they'll show at least the "top" ladies? And by "top" I mean all those who had an international assignment like JGP/GP?

I hope Miss Kihara will do well. I want to see her true 8 triples free program again. Is her knee ok?

Do you mean Rika KIHIRA? It's too bad but she is not in Senior Japan Nationals... (I suppose which means she cannot go to Jr. Worlds either...) :(
Becuase Mariko KIHARA is competing. (8 Mariko KIHARA DOSHISHA F.SKATING CLUB)

I really really hope Mao will be able to have a good recovery and nice comeback like the way we have seen her bounce back in the past!

The first skater will just have gone.
Good luck all!!! Especially my girl Marin. Get 'em, girl.
Also- question about juniors. This applies to both Russia and Japan. If Zagitova or Honda or any juniors in either country finish top 3 in their senior nationals, do they get to go to senior worlds as well?

I'll attempt to google translate that live blog and create some sort of coherent and short English recap of each skater (before I fall asleep, that is.)

Ayaka Hosoda:
3S+3T, 3F, 2A. Inviting performance.

32.93/23.95
56.88 (1st)

No they can not, there is still an age limit that prevents them from going to Senior Worlds. However it's good experience for them to compete against other top skaters and if they medal it would be good momentum for Junior Worlds. Wakaba Higuchi only became eligible for Seniors this year and she has medalled on the Senior podium twice before in Japan.
