pairsfan - could you tell me who and what is in that special? Cause I am a bit confused. I found some clips of Winter solstice on ice - but no trace of Brian Boitano. Instead there are Drobiazko & Vanagas and Rahkamo & Kokko, Yuka Sato and Rory Flack. Now - can you tell me if we are talking about the same special or not?

Yes, it sounds like the one you are looking for. It had R & K, D & V, Woetzel & Steuer, Yuka Sato and even Alexandr Abt in the program.

It originally aired on 11/29/99 on A&E. Brian Boitano was in it but Rhakamo & Kokko were the stars. It also featured Abt, Yuka & Jason, Caryn, Rory, Margarita & Povilas, Mandy & Ingo, and The Ice Theater of New York.
