I just woke up and was shocked to see Carreira/Ponomarenko 2nd!

So McNAMARA/CARPENTER made a costly mistake. Honestly, I don't think they've had one clean competition this year right?
Losing to the Parsons is not that worrisome since the Parsons have always been close to them (remember they won the SD at Junior Worlds last year!).
But losing to younger teams like Carreira/Ponomarenko and losing the FD to POLISHCHUK/VAKHNOV and SKOPTCOVA/ALESHIN at a JGP...
I wonder what would have happened if Pogrebinsky/Benoit had stayed juniors, skated well and beat McNamara/Carpenter as well :slink:

Anyways, congratulations the Parsons for their first Junior Nationals title! I believe Rachel has the full set (except Senior gold of course) since she won juvenile & intermediate with her former partner and novice with Michael.

Ahh wow that was absolutely gorgeous from Anthony and Christina. He's so adorable when he really gets into it!

ETA: Holy score Batman!!!

Love Carreira and Ponomarenko's skating so much. That was wonderful. .

That was definitely the best performance of that FD this season for sure....they just flew while floating. So cool!

Yes!!!!! That was so good!

that was definitely their best lp,,,anthony is doing a much better job presenting Christina, paying more attention to the use of his arms, head, face, towards Christina. They just floated across the ice and had a lot more connection this time. What a brilliant skate. They're only going to get stronger, imo.
