Miscellanea
Original Post (OP) from 5 February 2017
This is a relatively new pair but they have developed really fast and they are already really good, although they did major errors today. In any case they already have a quad twist and they also have very unique lift. And she has multiple triples of course.

Their quad twist

Their signature lift

All in all they look amazing despite the fact that she is new to pair skating and they have trained together only about six months or so.

Here is short interview.

In training we are working on some more unusual elements, but will not prematurely reveal secrets.

Can't wait to see more signature lifts from them.

It seems that Pavlyuchenko/Khodykin doesn't plan to skate Bavarian Open which means that Daria & Alexei will most likely be the 1st substitute for Junior Worlds. This is because Zhuk/Britkov who were 4th at the Junior Nationals aren't eligible and Pavlyuchenko/Khodykin doesn't have minimum TES for Junior Worlds. The deadline for having minimum TES for Junior worlds is soon and as far as I know the Bavarian Open are the only international event for junior pairs before the deadline. Their names can still appear on entry list though but I would have assumed their names would already be there if they were planning to skate there. There is a possibility that Russian Fed could name Mishina/Mirzoev as one of substitutes but since he has his knee problems and they have their personal issues I doubt they would be named as 1st substitute.

They have been assigned to JGP Latvia. I am very confident that they will have a great JGP debut.

Disappointing news - they have been substituted at the JGP Latvia.

Hopefully they will skate at the JGP Belarus.

They weren't assigned to JGP Belarus. It doesn't look good for them now. In theory they might get the last two JGP events but it doesn't look likely.

In their first succesful year, Mishina/Mirzoev got a JGP event, but did badly (5th place, score 128 points) and did not get a second event. Yet they decided to prove their federation that it was just an unfortunate event; they competed at many Russian competitions (about seven fompetitions!) and won most of them. They qualified to Russian nationals and won that too, so they were sent to junior worlds. Why am I mentioning this here? Because even if Kvartalova/Sviatchenko don't get their JGP event, there is a way to prove that whatever they did at the test skates was just an unfortunate event and that they are much better than that. Not having a JGP event does not mean having whole season lost. They have to compete a lot, both at home and abroad (B competitions) , and keep winning.

They have been assigned to JGP Croatia. Maybe they will get 2 JGP events after all, will have to wait and see.

I am not sure how firmly fixed the spots are at this moment. The federation already handed out three out of four JGPs, and nine out of twelve spots, while Mishina/Galliamov don't even have a spot and neither has Ustimkina/Volodin. If the allocations stay as they are, Mishina/Galliamov would end up with maximum of one spot, which I think is unlikely considering that they have just won Russian competition last week. They also wouldn't have much chance giving second spot to whoever wins the previous JGP.

They didn't get a 2nd assignment yet but since Daria & Denis have three JGP events at the moment - JGP Belarus, JGP Croatia and JGP Poland, one can hope that Daria & Alexei will get one of those. Namely either JGP Belarus or JGP Poland since they already have JGP Croatia.
