Angelique may be Russian, but she is not like Russian skaters.
From watching her, you can tell she has not come through the Russian system. She has got that flair that is typical of the French skaters.
I just love that girl. And I have a feeling that with a few years more experience, these two could be ones to watch for the future.

Li is 9, will be 10 in July. He took some pause in the middle not because he forgot his moves, but waiting for the music (skating too fast in the first half?

I was wondering what was going on there! He did seem to be really racing through it, so that would make sense.
Maybe if he was a bit older and more experienced, he could have done some improvisation to fill in the gap.
But, he was really impressive!
Taiwan has some really promising looking skaters. Can't wait to see them coming through in a few years time.

Yeah, there certainly are a lot of them this year!
Can't make up my mind whether I like that slowed down version of "It's My Life" or not.
Loved the second song, though. Really injected some energy into the routine.
Not sure about his bike riding pose, though...
