I thought it would be less confusing than having a separate post to find. I will probably be posting other live streaming links in the individual event threads for the competition. I was excited to see your post about being able to watch the practice sessions

I have icenetwork but can't access it on my iPhone, so I often depend on the links you and others provide, and I'm so grateful - I would be totally helpless at finding one myself, so a big shout out to all of you! :thank:

Once again TV: telkku.com. When in the schedule is taitoluistelu, push the little arrow and you can watch the broadcast. If you watch tv on your hotel, choose channel 2, TV2 is usually there.

Oh. That's my plans for the week completely up the creek then.

I was planning on taping the SP competitions that Eurosport were not showing LIVE, and then the following morning piecing the competition together with the archived Eurovision coverage.

But, if Eurovision aren't showing anything LIVE, then I suppose they won't have archived videos either.

Are Match Arena showing the competitions in their entirity? Because if they are, I could do the same with the archived versions of the Sportbox streams that puremagic posted on Page 1 of this thread.

This whole mess is really showing the urgency for Eurosport to have more than just two linear channels.

Yes, it is the push bikes that are the problem. Because they take priority over EVERYTHING. Believe it or not, even snooker has got pushed off the Eurosport schedules multiple times this season because of cycling!

Yes! Match Arena HD/SD will show all WC live. One can see on Acestream live or download later from tracker.

So ISU has actually confirmed that the practices from main and practice rinks will be streamed.
I am astonished. Nice to be wrong about it, I guess, although I think it will be very awkward when there is, say, Ladies SP going on and half the audience is watching a livestream of men's practice instead. ;-)

Hey people. You can watch any geo-blocked channel through an app called hola. you attach it to your browser(chrome works best), go to the website you want to see, press the hola logo and change your geo location to the same country the website is from and, refresh and..... VOILA!!

It doesn't work all the time. Some websites have worked out a way of stopping VPN's getting around geo-blocking. The Eurovision site that the ISU does their livestreaming on for one.

I use Hola a lot. I use it to read stories on the website for German music channel VIVA (the website for the UK version of the channel piggy-backs on the same address as the original German channel, so fans here haven't been able to get into stories on the original German website since the UK channel launched). I also used it to make out the TV schedule posts that I post on here. And it is because of it that I can watch the Sportbox streams.

But, if you are expecting Hola to get you into every site that is geo-blocked, you will be disappointed.

I used to use Hola until I realized it was a peer-to-peer VPN that uses your ISP as an exit node for other users (what if someone's checking child porn with your internet connection?). Since that sounded bad, I stopped using it.

I'm beyond confused and seriously (insert swear word starting with p here)! What the heck is this reasoning? Our broadcast partners will cover on TV? BS, I say. I just don't get it. Imagine you have the final of the World Cup in Football. Your channel won't show it live, but you can watch the highlights later. What the? I mean, it's nice to rewatch figure skating programs after a competition is over, because they are performances that can be enjoyed later, but sport gets it excitement from the moment, the present. I want to be in the loop. I want to know in THAT moment if someone lands their jumps and who becomes World Champion. It's the reason I get up at 3 in the morning when competitions are on the other side of the World. It's the reason why I bought that subscription to the Player. Thanks for nothing, ISU and Eurosport. I'm just so angry right now.:hslap::shocked::ddevil::furious:

The official Match Arena stream on Sportbox is indeed geo-blocked, but I have watched it frequently during the season with my unblocky friend.

I don't like watching unofficial streams any more.
