Full ISU Membership

From Communication No. 2097 - Decisions of the ISU Council

The ISU Council granted full ISU Membership with immediate effect for the following ISU Members:

- Federasi Ice Skating Indonesia - Figure Skating and Speed Skating Branch
- Skating Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic - Figure Skating Branch
- Liechtensteiner Eislauf Verband - Figure Skating Branch
- Figure Skating Federation of the Republic of Moldova - Figure Skating Branch
- Philippine Skating Union - Speed Skating Branch
(The Philippine Skating Union is already a full ISU Member for the Figure Skating
Branch)
- Qatar Skating Federation - Speed Skating Branch.

Congratulations to the newly fully-recognised bodies!!!

Looking forward to seeing their skaters in action!

In fact, we have already seen skaters from some of these countries competing in some of this season’s Majors:


And when you look up these countries on Rink Results, there are also other skaters from those countries as well!

Here are the lists:

• Indonesia
• Kyrgyzstan
• Moldova

There was only one skater that I could find for Liechtenstein, Romana Kaiser (ISU Bio; Rink Results). She hasn’t competed at any Majors yet, but she has done a couple of Junior GP’s.

I wish all the skaters from these newly fully-recognised Federations all the best!
