The ISU Challenger Series ranking pages have now been "filled in", with the skaters who appear in the list of entries published for Challenger events so far (US Int. FS Classic, Lombardia, Ondrej Nepela)

I assume more skaters will be added to the tables, after entries are published for Autumn Classic, Nebelhorn, Finlandia etc etc...

I just wanted to make the point that Challenge Cup competitors earn more world standings points than competitors in other ISU competitions (except GPs and championships).

6. WORLD STANDING POINTS For the ISU Challenger Series higher World Standing Points than for “regular” International Competitions shall be awarded. Each competition of the ISU Challenger Series will be awarded with the following scale of points (in brackets for comparison is indicated the number of points for “regular” International Competitions)

I'm also not aware of anything for the top skaters at the end of the Challenger Series, other than the cash prizes?

Is it a reference to the World Standing points? (In each individual Challenger competition, the top 8 Ladies/Men, Top 5 Pairs Teams, and top 6 Dance teams... earn World Standings points. The best two results of the season count towards total World Standing scores).

yes. I meant world standings. I was in the middle of editing when I lost power and was unable to complete the post.

Often people wonder how people have higher world standings than seems intuitive. The above table explains how. Not only are the points higher, but for for men and ladies, points are awarded all the way down to 8th place, too.


And now that all the points are tallied, when made official, the top three in each discipline earn the following this cash prizes year.


9. PRIZE MONEY The top three placed Skaters/Couples of the annual ISU Challenger Series Ranking will receive ISU Prize Money as follows which will be paid to the concerned Skaters by the ISU through their respective ISU Members
