I’m looking for episodes 11-13 as you say and it was odd the ones I have found have a very weird viewing angle. Are there better clips on line maybe submitted by someone with a horizontal not sometimes vertical view. I can’t watch the episodes like that. I watch the Turkish versions with my limited but sometimes growing Turkish.

It is an interesting show indeed.

Thanks Dafna, for the book title and author, is it also in English? I would like to read it as well. A friend of mine is to get me LP still waiting though.

The area they did the filming is good as well.
I wonder the same about filming in Istanbul. FHVK was filmed in Istanbul.

Hi Dafna,

Its been an exciting weekend. Managed to finish Hercai.
What drama. I sense season 2 will be like LP in the sense that all the pieces will fit in together.
I just hope they don't do a mad rush to the finish like in the other series as is known to these Turkish shows.

As for FHVK, I watched from 2 subscribers there is also quite good picture through TEXT i think.

Omg, I have a lot of entertaining waiting for me. I have guests/family over. I still haven’t watched Hercai episode 8 and 9. I checked FHVK a bit and looked interesting, plus I trust your taste. So I will give it a try. I will let you know. Thanks again!

I think I mentioned this series before, but still not sure: it came as a suggestion on youtube: Medcezir. I browsed through the first episode, and then read the plot online. It is an interesting story. It is a version of an American show: OC (Orange County), that aired in 2003 - 2005, which I have no idea. The main character is played by Serenaya Sarikaya, e very interesting young actress. She plays beautifully. I haven’t had the time to check if it is completely translated.

A recommendation - “Cezur ve Guzel” – it’s on YouTube. I haven’t watched the whole series, but I’ve watched enough to know that I’m going to enjoy it. I’ll be vague here so I don’t spoil it, but for those who like this genre (romance) this is a good series – you won’t be disappointed. YouTube episodes - some of the English translations are rough/confusing, so I Googled to see if I could find other English translations. Daily Motion has some, but what helped me the most was a fan page with brief summaries. Kivanc Tatlitug and Tuba Buyukustun are the leads. Both are SO good in this series. And not just them, some of the supporting actors as well. The actress who plays “Suhan’s” (Tuba) closest friend, she’s really talented. “Korhan” is “Suhan’s” (Tuba) brother – don’t know the actors name but I really enjoyed his scenes too.

I don’t spend as much time in the summer watching TV, Netflix, etc – life is busy – but in the fall when I have more time I’m going to watch Kara Para Ask again (I skimmed a lot the first time) and this one. I’ve kept a list of all the recommendations from here, so I’ll have lots to watch.

Thank you for your recommendation. I have seen the first episode of Cezur ve Guzel, months ago. It is beautiful, and their play is really good. I thought the whole series would be translated, and after finishing the first episode, to my biggest disappointment other episodes weren’t translated. I am glad they translated it now. Thank you.

I am not fully, fully sold on “”Peasants Rebellion” that I recommended yesterday, I guess I will watch it. But I am not that enthusiastic (for the lack of words) about it. Just check it.
Another recommendation that came on youtube was: “The Girl Named Feriha”. I checked it, it is fully translated. I don’t know about it because I didn’t watch any of it, just check it yourselves if you like it.

Hello Denner, Kuzgan is on my list as well. Their translation of English pronouns is a bit of frustration. Actually this comes from the fact that in Turkish, he,she,it is one word: “o”. Now, I think the mistake or the mismatch might come because they use a computer to translate it, or/and people that translate it or check over the computer’s translation, do it very quickly and routinely and they don’t follow the story. Usually “she” and “he” are exchanged with each other. This mismatch doesn’t happen with “they” and “us” for example. Another funny/interesting thing is that some translations are done maybe from English people (England), and they use some old, big, fancy words that you don’t hear being used in US anymore, maybe an old lady might. &#55357;&#56835;

Denner, have you been watching the latest episodes of “Erkenci Kus”? What did they do with that series?!? I tried to watch E44 or 45 (I can’t remember), it has become so stupid and idiotic.... omg. I stopped watching it. I saw they went to episode 48. The main characters play like crazy I don’t get it, and they don’t play good I think. I was wondering if you followed it, maybe I am wrong, I don’t know.

Yes, it started ok and it was interesting to see where their love would go. But they have turned the show into smth totally different. I like her more than him, they both are good, but because of the show they have turned into some very silly figures. Denner, I just finished Hercai episode 8. I couldn’t watch the translated one with the tilted screen like you did, but I watched the original one with no translation. I paid attention to the last scene, like you said: Miran showed at the door of her servant’s house and said:”I am this girl’s husband. I am here to take my wife”. Please, tell me if I have missed anything from this. I assume this was the scene you were talking about.

That show started so good, and it was a pleasure to watch the dynamic between the two main characters. It’s such a pity it turned out like this. I am curious to see the ending. I have left it I guess around episode 43 or 44. I’ll browse it through these episodes to be able to watch the last one.

I watched “The Red Sea Diving Resort” on Netflix last weekend. It’s interesting, based on true events.

To my surprise, many of KPA episodes are not on youtube anymore.... I thought to watch it again, but no luck.
