Nice performance, but that combo is not getting better. :scowl:

I think as a human being she needs more time. Usually it takes almost the same amount of time you were absent to get back on track

no, it's getting better. And she did this combo clean multiple times during warm up.
Give her time. She needs to build her shape and confidence back. And it always takes time. She missed 9 months of any competitions. It's a lot.

Both places 3 and 4 had 3 deductions in FS. Ryabova - 3 falls, Valieva - late start and 2 falls.

Oh sheesh, Valieva not even on the podium...

Doesn’t it show that there is no point watching skaters who are still very young kids and crowning them as the ‘sure thing’ for the Olympics in 8years? Valieva was marked as a huge talent by several posters here, and a year later.... She may have the talent, but so do hundreds of other skaters in Russia. That’s the reason why I am interested in skaters only when they reach junior eligible age.
