Anita Ostlund leads after the ladies SP. She scored ~59: she landed a clean 3 toe 3 toe combination and a 3Lz.

Viveca Lindfords sits in second place with a score of 58.

I hope Anita can repeat this in Peyongchang and qualify for the free skate. Swedish and Nordic figure skating need some success soon.

Where did Smilla Szalkai come from?? I thought this was for sure Sofia Sula's to win or lose, as it happened...

The junior ladies event was won by the Swedish Smilla Szalkai.
I had never heard of her before as she has never taken part to the JGP circuit.

Smilla placed third in the LP with a score of ~83: she managed to land 3 triples (Sx2 and a L).

Sofia Sula placed second.
This Finnish girl though (born in 2002) is the most promising of all the skaters competing at this event as she has all the triples (yet not 3 triple 3triple combinations).
She attempted a 5triples LP but had two falls.

The winner of the LP, the Finnish Laura Karhunen placed third overall.

She did 3t-3t when she won her first junior title at the age of 13. I do not know, why sis has not attempted it this year.

Emmi got the place at olympic because of she had the best SB of the Finnish ladies when the selections were done. Now Viveca has beaten that by couple of points. So if they follow the rules, Viveca is now the one who will go to Worlds, if Emmi does not beat that score at olympics or somewhere else.

And Alexander, did he skate his PB? Does isu count Nordics?

Is this competition big enough to count? They only had five judges and The PCS were quite inflated.

it counts in senior. 5 judges is what is required, all International comps on ISU list have that. junior points do not count.

Smilla was a novice until last season and has been on the Swedish development team for a while
