I don't see why OARs cannot compete as a team if they are allowed to in other team sports like hockey.

Wasn't she forced to say that in her speech to the IOC, where she was being used as a puppet/bargaining chip by the Russian federation and probably had the speech written for her?

Ouch....I think you’re being a little dismissive here. I’m sure she said what she believed was the best for her and her country as many of us would. She gave a great speech from what I recall and it’s been reported that it helped to alleviate a bad situation.
