I have recently came back to skating after a two year break, I am adult skater, have most of my single jumps, not Lutz or Axel yet, and all basic spins position back. I never used to warm up before a lesson or practice, but am lately feeling my age, early 30s. my coach is on at me to be warm and stretch prior to my lesson. Can people please give some recommendations of what they do to warm up. I thinking about 3 laps around the rink, some off ice jumps, such as 1.4 turn, then 1/2 turn, then full turn moving into all the actually jumps, some dynamic stretching, then stretching out my front splits, and backbend(?). just really struggling with the dynamic stretching.
