Hi,

I have just recently got back into figure skating. The last time I skated competitively was mostly in ISI competitions, but I'd like to switch to USFSA. My coach did not emphasize MITF tests much, so I only got up Juvenile. However, I would like to compete in Juvenile on the qualifying track not open, but I have not passed any free skate tests. I have my axel and almost all my doubles except for lutz and axel. Do I have to start with with the pre prelim free skate test or can I go right to the Juv free skate test?

Thanks so much for your help in advanced! It is greatly appreciated! :)

You’ll have to take all the tests up to juvenile, but given your skill level, they shouldn’t be too much of a hassle. I’ve seen people in your situation take several free skate tests one after another in a single session. I am also assuming you know you can’t be 13 before sep 1, 2018, to compete at next years regionals in juvenile.
