Singapore . [ETA: Meaning that Singapore *would* be next in line as an alternate after Armenia. Not trying to make premature assumptions.]

Chloe Ing just won Nationals for the third time.

Shuran Yu earned the spot for Singapore at Nebelhorn. [ETA: Earlier this month, she withdrew from Four Continents.]

Both have the TES minimums. http://www.isuresults.com/isujsstat/tes/stsljustsen.htm

Next in line in Men is Philippines. But is MCC still training? He isn't competing at 4 Continents.

Alexander Majorov just annouced on his Instagram than Olympics are a NO for him so they must be a no for the ladies. I think this is so stupid of the Swedish Olympic committee.

I don't think we can assume that Sweden won't send a lady. Young talents are eligible for an exemption from the Swedish Olympic Committee's strict requirements. Majorov may have been allowed to compete at the last Olympics because of this exemption. I think you can only receive it once. Ostlund and Algotsson are both young and have never been to an Olympics so it's still possible that one of them will get to go.

I'm still positive for a Swedish lady. Both are young, talented and promising. Which is a requirement to be chosen.

I just posted on twitter if anyone wants to retweet:

I'm not on twitter, but exactly! Would have been good for the young talented junior boys to see that it pays off to work hard. Figure skating is a small winter sport in Sweden drowning in skiing and icehockey reports. Attention in olympics helpes a lot.

We won't know until the 27th if the Russian picks have been cleared.

Yes I know that. I was saying if they are clean and cleared why wouldn't the IOC choose this team. And the date is the 28th. Athletes find out on the 27th.

So while the official announcement for team OAR is on the 28th, they have somehow gotten a hold of their OAR gear  Like how did they get a hold of these if they still don't know whose been cleared and who has not been? Like who gives these out, the IOC or the Russian figure skating fed

Does this mean Michael Christian Martinez of Philippines now in?
He is not competing in 4CC, so curious if he is still skating.

On his facebook page, he posted on january 18th "The wait’s almost over, but the fun is just beginning. Proud to join #TeamVisa with my sponsor @VisaPhilippines at #PyeongChang2018 #EverywhereIWantToBe‬"

If somebody understands what he wants to say...?

Guess I answered my own question. It's the Russian skating fed who gave them the Olympic uniforms. Wish they hadn't done that.

The IOC has told the ROC that Bukin and Stolbova can't compete.

Yes. It seems very confusing. We will need to wait and see.
Everything is so last minute.

Wait. What? Are they not cleared because of positive tests?
Does this mean that B/K are in for pairs? Who would be in for dance?
