Very excited! Hoping for clean performances from everyone, no wonky twizzles or lifts, and plenty of SBs! (Though it's hard to say with the tech panel.) One of the deepest fields in ice dance ever, and that should be reflected in the quality of performances. Shout out to V/M, since this may be their last competitive skate ever (!!!!) and their longevity and excellence should have them down as one of the sport's legendary greats no matter where they finish tonight. Also hoping for a redemption skate of sorts for P/C, after the costume malfunction last night, I can't imagine how mentally strong Gabby must be to come back out tonight/this morning and skate.

In short, go everyone! :ghug: Prayer circle for twizzles for everyone!

Thank you, V/M, for getting me into this sport 8 years ago. They will always be my #1. I hope tonight I can watch them do what they did 8 years ago all over again.

Brian Orser being interviewed by Scott Hamilton + an announcer on NBSN Olympic Ice right now. Brian seems so open and honest about everything! This is so interesting, he's talking a lot about his coaching technique. I'd love to sit down and watch Scott and Brian on a longer interview format. What I would give to be able to walk around the Cricket Club on a normal day just observing things

It's so crazy to think that was 8 years ago. Especially because they haven't lost any ability at all. Time fliesss :drama:

I remember them 8 years ago at the Olympics somewhat. I kinda paid attention somewhat and learned names, but didn't really pay attention again until the 2014 Olympics. Then my life changed forever by joining the skating fandom. I look back and know that I was so different during the 2010 Olympics. I was like 2 inches shorter, 20 pounds lighter (I was pretty underweight), had braces, still had a back brace that I had to wear 24/7 except for showers, exercise, pool/beach/waterparks, and special occasions (Bat Mitzvah, uncle's weddings, etc), I was not too great in cheerleading, I had no social media accounts whatsoever, I still had a flip phone, I was 14.5, and I was in 9th grade. Oh I wasn't into really any fandoms until November 25, 2011 (Hanson).

I've made a fresh batch of homemade hummous, with fresh tomatoes and avocado on the side, and white chocolate chip cookies for dessert. With Earl Gray tea.

I figure if the judging is as abysmal as yesterday at least I'll be and (for the most part) nutritiously fed!

The cookies are for my soul. :)

Yes thank you Doris. I didn't realize Lambiel worked with the Shibs, I always thought it was Tchernyshev.

Brian Orser sounded different though, higher pitched than I remember. I’m hoping that he’s alright.
