I'm the exact opposite, I really like P/C's SD much more than V/M's whereas I don't get the big deal about P/C's Moonlight Sonata (I mean it's a very nice program, but it doesn't knock my socks off) while I absolutely love V/M FD!

Nathan Chen's SP was the biggest disappointment of the season for me, because when I watched clips uploaded on instagram in summer it looked amazing, with transitions and intricate footwork, sadly after reducing them it got more and more empty throughout the season

For me, what I always look for and enjoy the most is musical interpretation. So I enjoy programs that have music I like and that are interpreted wonderfully.


Free Skate - Anna Shcherbakova.

I just really, really love it. Her next season's program has a lot to live up to.

Short Program - Sofia Muravyova.

Actually, this has been quite the surprise for this season. 11 years old and I think she's a true prodigy when it comes to artistry. Amazing arms and gestures in general, very powerful, recognizes what sort of interpretation suits the mood of the music well even when it's not done to the music. Love the music and I could watch this over and over.

Now that the season is over it's time for me to say my favorite programs.

I felt that way about Nathan's FS. I really liked what I saw at the U.S. international Classic. Obviously his 6-attempted-quads (and landing 5 of them with a record 127+ TES score) made it memorable at the Olympics (and the quads also is what I remember about the program after seeing it live at Nationals). But honestly, performance/choreography wise, I like the U.S. Classic version the best. I would really like him to keep the program.

For most of the season, I absolutely adored this program, so hence I'm fine with putting it a favorite. But It was very obvious to me that he wasn't fully on board with this program -- not sure if it was struggles mastering choreo or his issues with jumps or what. Seeing him do so poorly with the program in person was tough to watch. It was obvious that he was really comfortable with The Piano and in hindsight I wish they saved the new FS for another season and just had him do The Piano for the Olympic year -- I think the Hamilton SP presented plenty of challenge enough. But I still really like the program --- I kinda hope he is going to keep it for next season, but I have a feeling he's going to moving on from that one.

Many impressive programs this season imo. Especially these two incredible unique works of art: Aljona/Bruno La Terre vue du Ciel and Gabriella/Guillaume Moonlight Sonata.
