I just watched the start of "1988 Winter Olympic - Ladies Figures & Short Program" from the link posted by Mrs. P in post #8. It is very interesting seeing some of the figures being skated and listening to the discussion of the future of figures. Also has some interesting comments and scenes about Katerina Witt and her coach Jutta Müller.

Does anyone have any archived videos of Wakaba skating Skyfall with Yulia’s commentary. Two of my favorite skaters on one video and Yulia fan girling over her made me a very happy panda this year. I can’t find any links with translation of her remarks.

It seems as if it's either non-existent or it's hidden.

I searched most of the top video sites and nothing that has Yulia's commentary. Most of the videos are eurosport (UK) or (ITA) or NBC.

There was a poster at one point that went by Katia and she translated several of her commentaries by request here at GS but the page has since disappeared. The best part was that they shut the mics off during the performance and then talked during the KnC. Usually very nice things and always rooting for the skater and discussing from a sympathetic standpoint when things went downhill....regardless of nationality.

I found this but there are no subtitles and it’s not her best performance either. Oh well....I know she loved Wakaba’s programs this year and praised her and said she was under appreciated ..sort of like Akiko.

Bottom line....I love the Skyfall program.

whenever i need a pick me up i always watch ashley's FS from 2016 worlds. i have watched that video COUNTLESS times and i still get chills.
