It seem that Brian is meeting with Yuzu next week to discuss about JPN Nationals and he is on his way back to Toronto.

I wonder if Yuzu read that nasty article that was written about him. People are talking about it on my tl but does anyone here know if it’s a tabloid or from a “respectable” news source? I can’t even find the article cus my tl won’t spread it.

Guys & Gals,
Can anyone good in the calculations do a projection of the points Yuzuru will get in LP if he only does 3 quads after coming back from injury. No 4T+3A, his usual layout :
4S
4T
3L
3F
4T+3T or 4S+3T
3A+1Eu+3S
3A+2T

Tq tq

BV ONLY (including spins and steps to make it more accurate, assuming he gets all the levels even if it seems to be harder to get this season)
4S = 9.70
4T = 9.50
FCCoSp4 = 3.50
StSq4 = 3.90
3Lo = 4.90
4T+3T* = 15.07
3A+Eu+3S* = 14.08
3A+2T* = 10.23
ChSq1 = 3.00
FCSSp4 = 3.00
CCoSp4 = 3.50
TOTAL BV = 80.38 if my math doesn't fail me. If he does a 4S+3T rather than a 4T+3T the BV goes up by 0.20. Though IMO, if he were to do that he would definitely change the 3Lo (which must not be easy with the Lo being the most recent source of injury) for a 3F, adding 0.40 points.

WITH ESTIMATED GOE (based on the best GOE he has gotten on each element so far this season)
4S = 9.70 + 3.74 = 13.44
4T = 9.50 + 4.34 = 13.84
FCCoSp4 = 3.50 + 1.25 = 4.75
StSq4 = 3.90 + 1.67 = 5.57 (I used the Rostelecom SP GOE because he has not hit the level 4 step sequence in the free)
3Lo = 4.90 + 1.47 = 6.37
4T+3T* = 15.07 + 3.12 = 18.19 (from Rostelecom SP)
3A+Eu+3S* = 14.08 + 2.40 = 16.48 (used a plain +3 GOE)
3A+2T* = 10.23 + 2.40 = 12.63 (same as above)
ChSq1 = 3.00 + 1.50 = 4.50
FCSSp4 = 3.00 + 0.99 = 3.99
CCoSp4 = 3.50 + 1.35 = 4.85
TOTAL = 104.31

Add around 90 for PCS (which he gets even on a bad day) = 194 ish

This is mostly just guessing :biggrin:

Edit: Gosh how could I forget the 3F. It's then 85.68 in BV and say around 111 in TES with GOE.

With his layout from COR the highest possible score would be 222.58 (BV 85.68):
4S
4T
3Lo
3F
4T+1Eu+3S*
3A+2T*
3A+3T*
If he skates this one completely clean, I think something around 215 is realistic (maybe 218, if the judges have a very good day :p).

As a comparison his layout from Helsinki:
4Lo
4S
3Lo
4T
4T+3A+SEQ*
3F+3T*
3A+1Eu+3S*
BV: 91.43
Max. possible score: 229.58

Whatever he wants to do in the future...
Happy Birthday, Yuzu :ghug:

Yahoo reposted the article. A lot of people commented under it. Hopefully yuzu won't pressure himself into JPN for any reason.:pray:

Good that we know where he is now :)

Magazine "FLASH" is nothing but a tabloid, I read this article this time but I personally think the writer wrote this reading antis' tweets because the content was all the same as their posts.
