I also wonder, from another news post...since Shiz is skipping the Marshalls competition due to ilness, if it's serious enough to sideline her from the GPF.

I also wonder if Tarosova maybe is being cautious about Arakawa going up against Irina two more times before Worlds, since Irina won out at CoR. She may want to at least get her ready and rested (and even her program tweaked a little) before either GPF or Worlds.

Well if Shizuka withdraws, then Angela Nikodinov woill come in and that will make it at least on U.S. skater in all four disciplines.

I am glad that Angela Nikodinov is at least the 1st alternate.

Do any of the American plan to withdraw from the Finals? It's not as close as the Japanese Nationals but close enough. It' another long travel.
