Yagudin's figure skating centre in Minsk was opened on April 18.
Tatiana Tarasova and Oleg Vasiliev were his guests. Yagudin, Totmianina and Marinin gave a master class for kids.

They had a training camp from April 19 to April 30 (Tatiana Totmianina and Polina Shelepen were the coaches). It seems the kids liked it.

Tatiana also advised a young pair: Yadviga Shutova and Vladislav Saprykin.

In the beginning of May Alexei had a teacher-parent meeting. He said Yana Khokhlova was the first one to start working as a coach. Now they have children aged from 3 to 9. They plan to open a group for older kids too, but the main attention is going to be directed to the working with beginners.

After the meeting his teammates tested the children to range them into groups.

If everything goes as planned, the children had started training on May 13.
It is said the centre is going to cash money for the coaches on working with kids. As for working with the Belarusian team (top athletes), Yagudin is ready to work for free with them (though it is "under negotiation").

some quotes from an interview with Yagudin

I'll discover a secret: I also plan to open schools in Moscow. They already work, but now it is a testing. Before the official opening I and my team should completely develop the system we will use in our work.
/.../
We will have tests after each training period. Skaters will hit qualifying standards, so that their parents could see whether the child improves or not. /.../
Now one clear reporting system almost doesn't exist in Belarus. Yet it exists in Russia. I want to insert Russian system in Belarus, so that people knew what element A is and what element B is.
/.../
We also want to invite Tatiana Anatolievna /Tarasova/ to our trainings. Of course, she won't be sitting day by day and watching our skaters. Yet she can give an advice in a testing competition. One who works with skaters day by day, loses clear vision, so an outside point of view is useful.
I remember we commentated the European Championship in Minsk last season. Tatiana Anatolievna saw one of the coaches and said to him: "Why did you make her jump in that corner? Don't you see it is bad aesthetically?" After a short pause he replied: "Yes, thank you, Tatiana Anatolievna!" She is an experienced coach, so she needs to see a program only once to say what's wrong with it.
/.../
Recently I have been making phone calls to talk to the coaches whom I know for a long tome, whom I can trust. I said at once how much I can give and asked: "Do you agree?" Are you ready to do the work for the long run, or you'd like to have result at once?
If they replied: "I want to make money", the very next moment I said: "Goodbye!" In this case money is not as important as another thing.
/.../
We took kids aged from 3 to 9. How high is their level? I can say frankly: the level isn't high. Some of children have been skating for 3 or 6 years, but they barely do single jumps. /.../
I want to note - it is important - I'm not going to make kids leave other coaches and come to my school, even if those kids are very talented. We are going to work with those who have come. I'm not going to promise we'll correct everything, that we'll make a champion from every kid. Somebody will improve, somebody won't. It is a long process. Naturally, those who are aged 3, or 4, or 5 have a better chance to improve.
