Janet Lynn. She was before my time, but thanks to YouTube I got to know her, and her skating, and the joy and positivity that she exudes through her performance is truly special, something that transcends time and generations. She may not be as well known as Peggy Fleming, Dorothy Hamill or Katarina Witt, she deserves a special recognition, because she represented everything that is beautiful about figure skating.

Anastasiia Gubanova and Lucinda Ruh.

One a gorgeous skater who has never even been able to skate on GP even though she is super talented and has the ability to compete there, the other for her gorgeous spins who has become forgotten because even in 6.0 she wasn't a good jumper.

Sandy Lenz...watch her 1980 Olympic long program. No triples but first rate quality, Dick Button goes gaga over her style and finesse. And watch for the LONG circular spiral at the finale of the program. Takes my breathe away every time !

Coached by the Scotvolds IIRC

I'm going to add Jennifer Robinson to this list. No world titles but she carried the banner for Canada for a decade. Loved her skating, beauty, and her fun personality.

Ashley Wagner skating her iconic Moulin Rouge program to win the World Silver Medal in 2016. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlreW_RerW4

And here's her earlier version, "MR 1.0," at 2015 US Nationals. The audience leapt to their feet, all over the arena here, like at Worlds '16. Being part of that, it seemed like people were impelled out of their seats! Levitating and screaming, raising the roof. :)
