Ksenia Tsibinova (Russian: Ксения Дмитриевна Цибинова) is Russian junior skater who was born on January 23, 2004 in Yaroslavl, in the Moscow region of Russia.

She is still a relatively unknown skater whose only two international competitions were ones that did not give her ISU Personal Bests. This should change soon because she won the senior events at both the 1st and 3rd stages of the 2029-20 Russian Cup, and qualified for the Russian Nationals, where she finished sixth in the free skate and eleventh overall.

She was quite excellent today. What a discovery of this season!

How would she have fared in the Junior Grand Prix, at Frolova's presumed level or above, like Tarakanova's and Vasil'yeva's?

Nice to see a fanpage for Kseniia. She had some reasonably sturdy skates last season and was often to be seen cheerfully hanging out at the edge of her snow leopard companions in a sort of elder-sisterly way notwithstanding her young years.

These early skates this season under Davydov promise great things for the rest of the domestic season.

Someone may state otherwise because of the score of today but, imho, a bit less than Frolova. She's a bit better if you think about skating skill and stuff but her combos seem to me less stable. Frolova is also younger.

I think that both deserve their chances to show themselves, Tsibinova at senior nationals and Frolova on JGP.

Any known reason why she left #TeamPanova for #TeamDavydov? Better prospects, more ice time, just closer to home at CSKA?

I haven't heard. Sensibly, mum seems to be the word. Probably simple, practical reasons such as you suggest. It may be Panova felt too stretched across so many senior girls, Ksenia x2, Alyona, Nastya x2, Anna x2. (It may be that other schools were solicited to poach and that's my own feeling about Alyona.) (...and may be the case with Kseniia > SD).

:agree: RC III Sochi, another nice opportunity for Kseniia to go up against the two SPB Anastasiias G. She has been quietly impressive this season with her economical and interesting programmes.

Consistent, elegant skating by Kseniia brings victory in Cup of Russia 3rd Stage. She is certainly flowering under Davydov.

Well done!!!

Ksenia skated at the Russian cup final today, in a pool of reserves. She is sitting 3rd after the short, with 67.02. With a good free skate she can cap off a good season, went from unknown to winning both of her Russian cup events, going to nationals, all of that!

With Tarusina and Kanysheva's retirement I thought maybe she was next in line for a jr national team spot becuase Shabotova and Safonova left, and Kostyuk has seemingly retired. I can't keep up with all the talent in Russia, but maybe she can get a challenger next year?

Congratulations to Kseniya on a solid showing at Stage 4 of the Russian Cup! She finished 6th in a deep field and both of her new programs seem quite nice. I think she will plan to skate at Stage 5 so she can hopefully qualify to Russian Nationals. Good luck Kseniya!!
