taking a class called "writing for teh media" and one of my textbooks is the most recent edition of the AP stylebook which also gives definitions of different things so that if a reporter needs to know something about a subject they're stuck writing on they have the basic idea

according to the AP figure skating still has singles skaters do 3 compulsary figures... I could understand them maybe having the 6.0 system still... but FIGURES???? They've been gone for over 10 years now! :sheesh:

yeah so much for blaming the individual writers now... it's the AP as a whole to blame!!!

nope! hate writing the stories... I'm taking Doug Wilson's job and I'm going to rework how the skating events are covered on ABC and ESPN (actually he doesn't have teh power... but I can throw the best hissy fits!)
