Timothy Goebel skated on the Today Show. He is in New York for a benefit for figure skating in Harlem, helping out young people who want to skate. He gave a very nice interview. He said that figure skating has given him so many opportunites and he would like to help other kid to accomplish their dream to skate. Good luck to Timothy at Worlds. He skated to Elton John's "Rocketman".

Good for Tim. He's skating so much better now. Did he skate at Rockefeller Center?

Yes Joe he did skate at Rockefeller Center.

Thanks for posting this! I so seldom get to see the "Today" show, as I'm rushing about, getting ready to drive to the office. Timothy has a wonderful attitude, and he has always gone across as a class act. All the best to Tim at Worlds!

did they ask him about Angela at all (hopefully not, but they are the 'media')? or anything about Nationals?

Anne Currie interviewed him and she was very sweet. He talked out his benefit for the skaters and that he is confident and practicing hard going into worlds. He seems to be a very sweet young man. Anne didn't ask about Angelia or the Nationals.
