Barring disaster there should be French team in JGPF again

Abachkina/Thauron`s next competition is in Japan, where they have to compete against the Parsons and Shpilevaya/Smirnov, but even with a Bronze they should qualify.
Carreira/Ponomarenko should also have a good chance to qualify. Their next Junior Grand Prix in Saransk has Loboda/Drodz, but I guess a Silver should be enough for the Americans.

I love Abachkina...

I was just wondering whether she does have French citizenship. I don't think so. That would be a necessity for their Olympic start (if not 2018 then 2022 for sure).

She fills all the conditions but as a minor born abroad from foreign citizens, she must wait for her 18th birthday to ask for it. And her 18th birthday will happen a few weeks before the OG.
There may be tweaks to circumvent the problem but that's uncertain and she'll rush against the clock anyway.
