S/E were mesmerizing. Great contemporary choreography. Damn I want all of these Russian teams to make it to junior worlds :sad4:

Really enjoying the event so far!

Ushakova/Nekrasov's program was definitely unique (I don't get the costumes, especially his?) but I appreciated that they had some interesting elements in there as well. If you're going to be different, might as well go all in.

Shevchenko/Eremenko were also interesting and different, and I've been a fan of this program since their first JGP. They weren't on my radar before this season but I'll be looking for them in the future, for sure.

Lajoie/Lagha - seemed like a disappointing score for them. Looking forward to seeing them (I assume) at junior worlds.

This is the best I've seen P/V skate this FD this year, costume much improved. Her ballet positions are the best. Still do not think it's their best program but Cathy Reed loved it.

85.87 yes they'll be on the podium

Hearing Cathy commentating makes me want for Japan to finally get top Ice Dance teams. Figure skating is so popular, but mostly because of Ladies and Men. That would be so cool if they could get Japanese top ID teams. I know one is training in Montreal these days.

Anastasia SKOPTCOVA & Kirill ALESHIN remind me of Yanovskaya & Mozgov skating to a tango that makes them look mature as juniors.
Great score, Carreira & Ponomarenko will have to deliver.
