I don't think Rika will win
She'll probably medal, but... I don't know...
She has a tendency to screw up at least one of her programs, which will be very costly at this extremely competitive final.
And even if she skates clean, she'll be the first at SP, which means she'll probably get somewhat underscored in the most subjective and unclear marks: PCS.
I think the only way she will win is:
if they have a strict panel who will call other skater's URs, edges, etc. (Rika doesn't seem to have that kind of problem),
if she skates clean and Trusova doesn't,
if she gets good PCS and other skaters don't get inflated PCS.

Btw, I'm not saying any kind of conspiracy theories here. I don't think Kihira will be overscored because it's Japan. And I don't think "judges are bought" and a Russian gold is guaranteed.
I'm just saying that we all know scores can be messy sometimes.
So I only hope everyone will skate clean and that the scores will be fair.
