How exciting to have two Cypriot girls on the start list. I'm curious about their level.

They are both American, and this is their first competition representing their ancestral homeland.

In fact, this is Marilena's first Senior competition, having competed at Novice level last season. And last year was her first season in Novices! So, she has made a big jump to compete here, skipping Juniors completely.

Emilea was the runner-up at 2018 Novice Nationals in America. Which is probably why she is the penultimate skater to go here.

I usually find Dubinina to have an odd taste in dresses, but this one was pretty.

Also I think this is a program that fits her!
