Ah. I like the way they have the skaters introducing themselves on the screen.

12 year old Novice A skater Mao Shimada to get us underway with a "Cinderella" routine.

(I wonder who she was named after...???)

And she was amazing!!!

It was a fun routine, and I was surprised that the audience weren't getting into it like we normally get during Galas in Japan.

All black costume with coloured lines on it. It was like something you would see in a sci-fi film.

Very interesting programme. And I can't even tell you what the music was, because it had a pile of numbers in the title!

Now for the Ladies Bronze Medallist, Rino Matsuike.

This was our first classical programme of the night, wasn't it?

Beautiful programme. It suited her.

What on Earth is Kazuki Tomono wearing?! The only way I can think to describe it is that it was something like what George Harrison was wearing on the "Sgt. Pepper" album cover.

But the music was about as far away from the Beatles as you can get!

Kazuki even had a red trumpet as a prop!

The audience got a bit more into this than they did with Lucas Honda's routine earlier. They were clapping in time throughout it.

You Young did her video in English. So, now us non-Japanese speakers have it confirmed that they were actually introducing themselves and telling the audience what they were skating to.

Nice voice.

Very simple black top and black leggings. But, the white boots stand out a mile.

She did put a spell on us with that routine. Just beautiful.

Ah, Daisuke has his shirt hanging out. I kinda thought the reason he was late for the introductions at the start was that he was trying to tuck his shirt in before he went on.

"You Are The Reason" by Calum Scott and Leona Lewis.

And the lyrics "climbed every mountain" are so appropriate for Dai.

Oh, it's time for the interval already. That was a disappointment. I thought we would have two or three more routines before the interval, including another guest skater.
