i don't see why there wouldn't be a good livestream as they did it for championnats which was also in Pierrefonds. Considering the event is without fans, (latest news I have is no tickets.... ) then, it is even more likely there will be a good livestreamIt will be good to see all these pairs. I'm really looking forward to this event! Hopefully there is a good live stream.
I think it will interesting to see how Cain/LeDuc match up with most of the best Canadian pairs.Pulkinen has withdrawn from the Men event. Phan too. Two more Canadians have been added: Samuel Angers and Beres Clements.
However, now the Men field is all Canadians, meaning it won't count as International competition.
On the other hand, Pair field is increasing. Cain/LeDuc and McBeath/Bartholomay now added.
I still think ISU should work more with organisers to harmonise the schedule through the season. There are 3 non-invitational Single events held in North America during the whole season. And 2 out of 3 take place in the same week. It also gives less opportunities to second/third tier skaters based in NA who have less opportunities to compete internationally without flying to Europe.
I think Autumn Classic was previously livestreamed via Dailymotion.i don't see why there wouldn't be a good livestream as they did it for championnats which was also in Pierrefonds. I do not believe one moment that Canada's inability to hold international figure skating competitions is a factor here... One could mention skaters from countries like Japan who do not travel at this point and are usually fixtures of ACI. I believe it is the same with the Australians who are also often competing in Canada. I have been to ACI many times and I can tell you that other than in men, the field is comparable to other years. They really should have just made the US Classic the Challenger event if Canada can't even get an international field. Canada's inability to hold international figure skating competitions since the pandemic was well know when they handed out which events were going to be part of the Challenger series.
Worst case, you’ll find out once they hit the ice for short program warmups. Unfortunately for them, they have to reveal the names at that point. HahaThe event starts in just a few days, you'd think the schedule would been have posted by now.
