I'm just watching the Practice for Pairs, and a few comments:

Deanna & Maxime look very smooth to a romantic vocal number. Just did portions of choreo and a death spiral, no jumps or Lifts.

Ashley & Tim - I love this music (such a shame Micha Kolyada didn't keep it for his FP) to the film about Nureyev, and I love Ashley & Tim's interpretation to it, lovely choreo. It's great to see Ashley back after having Covid, though she didn't look 100% her bubbly self here, understandably, and doubled her jumps. But wish them luck for the comp.

Katie & Nathan - a very well matched Pair, excellent side by side spins, and superb Triple Twist caught in the air. But I found their vocal music a bit overpowering for the program. I don't know Katie, my first time seeing her skate and very impressed.

Vanessa & Eric - Again vocal Indie song, flowing routine, didn't look particularly sharp on the elements, and not much chemistry between them, but we'll see how they develop during the season. I don't think they looked outstanding compared to the other Pairs.

Missed the first group. Now resurfacing.
