While looking for a new Junior Ladies stream after the original stream ended during hte Interval, I found archived streams for the Advanced Novice SP's.

I see Ryan is still using the same method to show us the scores on-screen that he started using with the Junior Men last night:

Post-it notes!

That is a very considerate streamer.



However, during the Warm-Up, I saw somebody on the chat request that he do an all-day stream, rather than splitting the day up into shorter streams.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With all-day streams, there is more music contained in them. Which means there is more chance that something will bring a copyright complaint. And then we are left unable to go back to watch any of the skating from the day.

OK, so we have 3 skaters representing Austria in the Novice categories that have the surname Ruis - a Basic Novice girl, a Basic Novice boy, and an Advance Novice boy.

I wonder if they are siblings.

And now we move straight onto another mixed session, this time for the Intermediate Novice Free Skates. 2 groups in total: the first containing 5 girls; and the second containing 4 girls and 1 boy.

Mmmm. The last of the girls in the Intermediate Novice competition skated to "Once Upon A December". But, I have no idea what language the first half was in! (The second half was the English version).

Whatever language it was, I loved it!!!

The skater was Croatian. But, I'm not at all familiar with Serbo-Croat, and so would not be able to identify if that was it.

I was hoping there would be a resurfacing before the Advanced Novices, and there was.

Not sure if they are planning to have the boy on the ice with the girls for the Group 2 Warm-Up. You see, the start order for the Ladies says 4 girls in Group 1, and 5 girls in Group 2. But, if they were planning on having the boy warming up with the girls, surely it should have been 5 girls in Group 1, and 4 girls in Group 2. Which makes me think he will be warming up on his own after the girls finish. We'll just have to wait and see.

Gaaah!!!!!!!!

The second skater to go, Maxima MANZENREITER (AUT), skated to that awful "I'm An Albatraoz" song that Olga MAMCHENKOVA / Mark VOLKOV (RUS) do their Short Dance to!



Thankfully, the third skater, Samira Sophie Alexandra MITISKA (AUT), restored Austrian honour by skating to a Beethoven medley.

Time for Sophia Schaller's wee sister, Flora Marie.

(For the record, Sophia will be skating in the Senior Ladies SP tomorrow evening. But, the draw hasn't been done yet, so we don't know whereabouts in the competition she will be).

Unfortunately, Flora Marie Schaller slipped down a few places, meaning that all the Austrians that have skated so far are now grouped together at the bottom of the standings.

Will the last Austrian to skate, Hannah Frank, now rescue the competition for the home fans?

(I've been trying to find out if she is related to Kerstin, but without any luck).

Maybe I shouldn't have said anything about Schaller and Frank. Because it jinxed them. They are the only skaters to have suffered multiple deductions. Schaller with 1 point, and Frank with 1.5 points.

Interestingly, all of the Top 4 got deductions.

But, it wasn't a complete disaster for Frank, as she still managed to win the Bronze Medal. (She only missed out on the Silver Medal by 1.06 points). So, the fans will see an Austrian flag on the podium!

Congratulations to Elina GOIDINA (EST), who won by just short of 20 points.
