So, as usual, from the training schedule, the expected participation is

MS/CMS

Ice dance: 6/15
Pairs: 6/11
women: 13/24
Men: 10/19
Far more senior men than I was expecting considering how empty the men were in Kazan I fully expected only 5 or 6 to show up again.

Im wondering if we will see skaters who have already qualified for nats through GP or JGPF but haven't competed in a while here for a practice run. Rukhin hasnt competed since JGP and he did get any challenger assignments tho he was substitute in multiple ones and Eteri JGPF girl have also not competed since JGP and might want to have a comp before JGPF to practice new lay outs or jumps and have a senior comp prior to nats under their belt. I think depending on if Gleb is ill or not he could show up as he had to miss Austria cup and might want a practice comp prior to JGPF as well.

I dont think we will be seeing any GP seniors here the only one im thinking could show up is Petya if he wants to compete more to try out his 4lz in a non stressful competition.

They dropped off very close to competition though. It actually just got updated and new numbers are out. Some are actually higher… except for men.

6/15 ID
15/24 women
9/20 men
5/11 pairs

Anyway, ice dance was updated with names, as usual, since they are first to go. Khavronina/Chrizano and Kaganovskaya/Angelopol are both competing

Oh someone already dropped out from the men lol or did someone actually move from seniors back to juniors as there's now 1 more junior men competing

That’s what I was wondering too. Anyway, looks like as always there were last minute changes. I guess it explains why they are not eager to publish lists till basically the day of.

Hello,

Does anyone have a list of competitors? The link on the first post gives a 404 error.

Why are Ushakova / Nekrasov there unless there is an exception they are not going to qualify to nationals.
Is there a requirement to do two events? Because they can probably get enough points to qualify with just one. It's not very competitive for the last few spots in senior dance.

There's no rush with the entry list, it's not like the competition's tomorrow..
No indeed.

In fact it's only about 3 hours away now! It's already the 17th in Russia!

Edit: Oh wait I can't read 24 hour time properly. It's more like 5 hours, still they better get a move on!

Really hoping Sofia Muravieva is going. She could really do with trying out her 4S again before JGPF.
Sofia A is at the very least going according to her fanpage. I feel like they might not want Sofia M to face Sofia A just yet and Adeliya could also show up so AOP might not want to complicate Zinina reaching senior nationals by sending Sofia M who could also beat her there.
