Wow! Sofia S has been busy! She must have come here straight from Sochi!

Funnily enough, @CrazyKittenLady said pretty much exactly the same thing yesterday, but about Semion:

Well, Semion skated at the Cup of Russia stage in Sochi just this week (he won the bronze medal too!). He must have gone straight to Kazakhstan from Sochi, what a busy week for him.

So, I will repeat what I wrote in response:

You remember how we were so in awe of Elena Komova doing 4 programmes in 2 days at the Budapest Trophy a couple of weeks ago. Well, I had forgotten that a couple of years ago, Elizabeth Golding had done 5 programmes in 4 days! (An SP on the Monday; an FS on the Tuesday; 2 SP's on the Wednesday; and an FS on the Thursday). And it would have been 6 programmes in 4 days if she had not withdrawn from the Senior competition after the SP. Probably a wise decision.

The stamina of these kids never ceases to amaze me.

Sorry, with writing that last post, I never got commenting about Chiara Hristova.

So, first thing I have to do is remind you that, despite looking a lot older, she is still only 13. Her 14th birthday is actually 4 weeks from today.

Meanwhile, the wee girl that just followed her, Anna LEVKOVETS, is actually 5 months older than Hristova.

I enjoyed both of them. And there was only 2 points separating them. So, will the trend of no changes from the SP order continue? Given that Hristova has had 3 deductions, I think it will.

It hasn't! Anna becomes the first skater to drop a place. And she is in shock!

Well, I am nearly sure she won't climb any further. Because the Top 3 had a BIG advantage over the rest of the field.

My hopeless fangirl brain just told me that Sofia S. is basically skating to the same FS layout as Alexey Erokhov, except she is going for 3Lo instead of quad and 2A instead of triple. She owns both 4Lo and 3A though, so she could still catch up.
