Very nice skate for Mariah. She needed that kind of skate for her confidence. This skate shows her off so well.

Actually, I think this program is better now. Before, she always skated it with joy which was fine because it suits her personality. But, she skated today with raw emotion. I enjoyed that...

Honestly, to be competitive for a US women's Olympic spot, she may not.

Mariah left some points on the table with some iffy jumps and probably some URs, but she should be happy with that as a season start. Lots of room to grow.

I've just noticed that Mariah's dress looks a lot like Tessa's FS one. Hopefully it'll being her good luck.

Its good she skated clean, but it didnt blow me away. Almost all the jumps had rough landings, and all the doubles didnt leave me feeling impressed in any way.
