I have some questions:
How Clare SEO's SP can have FOUR choreographers?
Sorami TANAKA is Peruvian i guess (with Japanese origins obviously)? But seems like she's training in Japan? How did she ended training in Japan but representing Peru? I know there is strong Japanese communities in some latin coutries as brazil and Peru but it's surprising.

I think its more likely she is mixed and born in Japan and decided to represent Peru as its not as stacked.

Im so exited it feels like the season has officially started when jgp starts! Kinda sad we dont get to see Japanese and Russian juniors in the 1st few jgps but im really exited to see how everyone else will do, especially exited to see the what Seoyeon JI has in store for us also how Ahsun Jun and Kaya will do. Im also exited to see Lidsay and Claire as they been impressive in the US summer comps.

It has been forever since I commented on another thread than the Korean skating one, but (sigh) even after a terrible day I have to cheer for my girls. Hope both Ahsun and Seoyeon will be happy after their skates, especially Ahsun since her international debut was delayed a year

Wow! Seems like forever since I last did a reminder post for a Junior GP! :drama:

Livestream for the Ladies SP is now on air. And although the test card is showing, you could hear Ted talking in the background! :p

Here is the link for the livestream:

OK, it seems my hunger for JGP still exceeds my anger coming from the absence of the russian and japanese skaters. Still feel down about it but I'll try to enjoy nevertheless. If nothing else there will be Ted 👌

With there being so few Junior competitions last season, I have to admit that I am unfamiliar with nearly all of the skaters here.

But, there are a couple of names I recognise. I remember being impressed with Nargiz SULEYMANOVA the first / last time I saw her. And although I don't remember what she was like, Alina URUSHADZE's name rings a bell.

So, this will be a real journey of discovery.

Looking forward to it! It's been too long!

All countries with 2 spots (USA, FRA, KOR) have both of their skaters in the same warm-up group. Is it like a covid-related rule (to minimize the spreading from one country in case of infection) or just a coincidence?
