I admit I was a bit surprised, too. I thought they'd send Sasha, too. To my knowledge, he is not injured anymore (though I think he was last season?)

Strategically, it’s unsurprising. Samarin has international exposure, but Kondratyuk doesn’t and they need a bigger group of senior men to select the viable third candidate.

Does Kondratyuk have his international minimums?

I don't think he has. He doesn't need them to take part in Nebelhorn though. However, him taking part in Nebelhorm should get him those minimums (I expect he will get them).

After checking on ISU website, Kondratyuk has already the Senior minimums from Mentor Torun Cup 2020 (36.11 in SP and 69.4 in FS) and Bosphorus Istanbul Cup 2019 (37.95 in SP and 74.13 in FS).
