I have a friend who was on the video board for the seniors. Said friend said Scott Hamilton spoke to the “board peeps” (dunno what we are calling them) before the event and during ice resurfaces. He stated the Junior events in Nashville next year will be held at his skating club in.. it has two branches so not sure. But for sure not Bridgestone Arena. ...

Thanks for the inside scoop from Scott H ... even though I am sad to hear the news.
IIRC, both of the Ford Center rinks (or whatever they are called) are quite far away from downtown Nashville and Bridgestone Arena.

Oh, yes, I know what you are talking about re Lucas Altieri's fundraising -- definitely another reason to admire him.
Based on my limited experience in person, "gentleman" is the first word that comes to mind to describe him. Always gracious and pleasant. I think he will go far in life.

Thrilled that Eric Prober is back @ Nationals this year! Loved his Rolling Stones' program for 2018/2019!

I'm sorry, I meant missed Jacob in 2019 or when he was in novices or whenever.

I saw him last night. Just the most engaging skater. And Footloose was perfect for him

At 2019 Philadelphia International, Nicholas Hsieh placed second in Junior Men (with Eric Prober in fourth).

Anecdotally, I have seen Zharkov at least once at Philadelphia Summer Championships. (Not the International, but the same week.)

@iluvtodd probably would remember this kind of stuff way better than me ... but for others (like me) who look forward to future pilgrimages to IceWorks, definitely worth keeping all of our eyes open for some of these men.

I quickly will mention that at 2019 Nats, Jacob was in Intermediate Men ... which means that Fan Zone should have video, if anyone cares to view it.
[Side note to @el henry: I think I saw one of his 2018-19 programs at the Mid-Atlantics club competition (or maybe he turned it into a show program that I saw later at Chelsea Piers??). Anyway, at the risk of getting you overly excited , his choice of music from then would be to your liking.]
