Thank goodness they have split the Intermediate Novices into 2 groups. I know they were kids and, hence, were little, but it was scary seeing 12 skaters doing their warm-up together in the Basic Novice segments. So, I dread to imagine what it would have been like now with 14 skaters!

By the way, the Time Schedule for PD2 in Intermediate Novice hasn't been uploaded yet. But, I'll edit it into the reminder post when it is up.

OK, so I came back there now and saw that there are a whole pile of wee girls on the ice now. But, the next competition is not due to start for another half hour. So, I don't know what's going on.

EDIT: Gaaah!!! I just remembered, the Ukraine is 2 hours ahead of me rather than 1 hour. So, this is the Advanced Novice Ladies SP starting 25 minutes late!​

Our Advanced Novice Day continues now with the first of the Singles competitions. But, I am going to be leaving at the first resurfacing, to have my dinner before going over to the Trophée Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur to watch the Junior Ladies there.

I'd just like to apologise. I got mixed up with time zones again with the Advanced Novice Men's SP.

Because the computer was on a go slow when I restarted it during the first resurfacing in the Ladies, I just opened the Coupe de Nice stuff. For some reason, I had it in my head that it was 15:30 my time that the guys were on, not 15:30 Ukrainian time. (Maybe it was because the Junior Men in Nice were starting at 15:30 my time).

So, I got a shock when I opened everything up while waiting for the Junior Men in Nice to start, and found that the Advanced Novice Men were over.

But, for future reference, I will post the links anyway.

It's a MotoGP weekend, so I won't be able to watch everything. HOWEVER, I am going to pause Free Practice 1 so that I can at least watch my kids, who are kicking off today's action.

Well, we're starting the Junior & Senior days with a treat. The gothic programme from my kids representing Cyprus.

For those that don't know, it was Angelina's 16th birthday yesterday. I really hope she and Ilia have a great performance this morning. And tomorrow. It would be great if she could bring home an extra birthday present in the form of a medal.

I'm not a happy bunny. The stream was misbehaving the whole way through them.

What I saw looked good. But, I'm biased. I love them, and I love the whole concept of the programme.

63.36 points. That is a new Season's Best score for the SD and, according to my records, it is also their third highest SD score ever. Their highest SD score, incidentally, was achieved the last time they were in Odessa, for the Ludmila Mikhailovskaya Dance Trophy back in February.

They won all segments in that competition. So, hopefully this is a sign.
