It looks like the Victor Petrenko Cup is today having the same problems as there was in Nice yesterday. No live streaming working and no live scoring working.

The Junior Free Dance should have started half an hour ago, but I have no idea if it has actually started or not.

Ah, somebody has posted the following on the chat:

"Apparently there is a technical problem with the system. The junior ice dance didn’t start yet".

So, if correct, that would explain everything. And at least it would mean that us fans won't miss anything.

But, the poor skaters! Having spent all morning getting prepared for a certain time and getting "into the zone", and then having to wait around.

Well, today is the last time this week that we will be keeping to tradition by starting with the Dancers. A double bill of Juniors followed by Seniors.

It's a MotoGP weekend, so I won't be able to watch everything. HOWEVER, I am going to pause the bike coverage so that I can at least watch my kids. And hopefully it will be seeing them win!

Nette/Westwood achieved the standards for 4 Continents.

Ipolito/Russell got the standards for Europeans. They have minimums for Worlds in RD but they missed the FD one by less than 1 point.

Wow. It's very early in the season to be talking about minimums. But, good on Nette/Westwood for getting rid of that worry so quickly.

As for Ipolito/Russell, well, there's plenty of time for them to get the TES for the Free.

Just while we are on that subject, when are the deadlines for getting the minimums this season?
