Karl Lagerfeld was the creative director of Chanel for many years. Coco Chanel herself died about a decade prior to him taking over, I think, so....still not a very clear or cohesive theme here.

I love this sport.

What's more, I (looked it up just now too and) found a quote from Lagerfeld about Coco, saying that it's better that they never met, because he was sure she would've hated him.
