Almost clean from Naoki... just a 1F but the rest of his program was very well-executed! He has made leaps and bounds since the beginning of the season. :giggle:

Wow, Starostin ended up in 3rd? Well done!

How irritating. Thought I would catch up with Austria, and the stream ends during Nikita's skate.

Well, it seems my boy Nordebäck got silver here! And that makes him in contention for the overall CS Cup. The top three get prize money. I think Andreas might be behind Memola, but I have no idea how the standings are right now...

So, apparently Annis is qualified for US senior Nats, so I am 🤷‍♀️ about what this was about. Probably trying to put together senior intl scores.
I'm pretty sure that it was competing here that earned him the bye to Nats.

Found these videos of Andreas and Liam. Hope they work for you... I tried them with my VPN set to Norway server:

That what I thought, but the thread in the forum listed him as bye before that free skate. Maybe it was assumed he competes and finishes competition? I dunno, I still feel, that even if it was the case, the risk to his health was way too high.

Yeah, it was a bummer with the stream. I wanted to see how Starostin did it.

Yeah, I think it's an international event conflict bye. Carreira/Ponomarenko also have one (listed before they actually competed), and that's the only criteria they would meet.

I still think it was irresponsible of his team to put him on ice. Seriously, I hope there will be a more powerful presence of independent medical team at some point that could stop the whole ‘shoot them with morphine and on they go’ practice.

I really liked Annis’ skating since he first showed up in JGP, but this competing both in ID and singles and ignoring injuries like that makes me paranoid about how realistic their expectations are and if the team is not maliciously exploiting youthful ardor/ambition.

I admit I was surprised to see him in the gala as well - and he did not appear hurt or physically limited.
The FS might have been one thing, but adding the gala (to me) shows that whatever treatment he had really did the trick so he just used the gala as a cool down, a training (because he might have had to cut down on this earlier) perhaps.

I know, just wild guessing but that's what we all do. Hoping the best, not expecting the worst 🤞 :ghug:

Well, fingers crossed he recovers by the nationals and the heroics wasn’t in vain. I really want to see him blossom, dammit. He was top of my wish list to see skate live at JWC this year, but I dunno what’s going on with this guy and his many plans. Seniors, juniors, dance, singles… 🤦‍♀️

Warn us if he goes into pairs 🙈
